Information, Applications and Procedures for:
China San Francisco Business Visas

Submit your current, valid, signed Passport. It must not expire within 6 months and must have at least 1 blank visa page. If you do not have any blank visa pages in your passport, you must first amend your passport to have pages added. A Briggs will secure your visa using the added pages. If your passport expires within six months, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport.

Submit a completed, typed, signed China Visa Application form. It must be signed with blue ink .

NOTES:

• Your name on the application must match your name on your passport exactly, including middle name if applicable.
• Any incorrect information (such as wrong passport info) on the application form may result in rejection by the embassy!

China Visa Application

Submit a completed Supplemental Visa Application if:

• You are a non-US citizen, or
• You are applying for a work visa (type Z), or
• You are applying for a student visa (type X), or
• You share a passport with another traveler

Supplemental Visa Application

Submit a recent, 2x2 Passport Photograph taken by a passport photographer. A digital or non-passport style photograph is not acceptable.

Passport Photo Locations

If you are not a US citizen, submit your original proof of your legal long-term US residency (i.e. US Permanent Resident Card or US visa).

Submit a Business Invitation from your host company or inviting organization in China on company letterhead. It must be signed by a manager. It must indicate the purpose of your trip, visa type, number of visa entries being applied for, duration of your stayyour job position and title.

The business invitation must be signed by the appropriate officials in China.

Submit a Business Cover Letter from a US company on company letterhead. It must be signed by a manager. A faxed copy is acceptable. It must indicate the purpose of your trip, visa type, number of visa entries being applied for, your job position and titleyour company's moral and financial responsibilities for you.

If you were born in China and do not have a China visa in your current passport, submit either your China passport or a prior U.S. passport containing a China visa.

US citizens transiting China do not require a Chinese visa as long as they remain in the airport for less than 24 hours.

Persons who plan to re-enter China from Hong Kong or Macao must obtain visas allowing multiple entries.

Special permits are required to visit Tibet as well as many remote areas not normally open to foreigners.

French passport holders residing in the San Francisco Chinese jurisdiction must appear in person when applying for a Chinese visa.

NOTE: Processing times are business days, and do not include weekends, holidays, and regular consular closings. The first day begins the day after your package is received by A Briggs except in the case of pre-arranged same day service when available. Prices are per applicant.

$135 for rush service for which we secure your visa as quickly as the Embassy will issue it.

The order form gives us your name, address, shipping information and payment method. Multiple applicants can be entered using one order form. Please print two copies of the confirmation page. Include one copy with the documents you ship to us and keep one copy for your records.

Note: Additional shipping costs must be charged to a credit card for each package shipped to an international destination and the following locations: Alaska, Hawaii, and all U.S. Territories.

Saturday Delivery is an additional $14 when available to US destinations.
